 Surfing Todo Santos:

  Fishing Todo Santos
Todos Santos has excellent fishing. During the fishing season you can catch dorado (mahi-mahi), yellowfin tuna and even wahoo. If you need to hire a boat guide there are several local fisherman that will take you out either to fish or for a tour. I have a friend with a small boat and he offers great deals.  (Plus, use the fish for your meals for the week!)  Cabo San Lucas also has a large marina with marlin fishing year round.

Lower Baja

The Baja California peninsula extends 1,100 km from the U.S. border to the southern tip. Its widest point is approx. 230 km. Most of it is separated from mainland Mexico by the Sea of Cortez (Gulf of California). It has a long, varied coastline on both sides.

Todos Santos is rich in Mexican Culture and offers over 15 Art galleries ranging from photography, stained glass, Plein Aire landscapes, streetscapes, seascapes, cowscapes and chicken crossings. There’s a faux Van Gogh impressionist landscape artist and a score of painters who excel at painted copies of photographs of Mexicans standing in Chile fields leaning on a hoe or washing their laundry in a stream. Folks come to visit, dine and buy art here. Prices being better than in Los Angeles, New York or Santa Fe due to the low cost of living, studio and gallery rent here.

Nuestra Señora del Pilar de Todos Santos (Our Lady of Pilar Church)
This mission, built in 1733, is perched above the town of Todos Santos
and offers a spectacular view of the Valle de Pilar and the ocean.
It is a tremendous opportunity to view the original architecture
and many of the period furnishings that have survived intact.
